From Ibiza to Hamburg: Celebrating Our First Activewear Pop-Up

Hello to our beautiful community at Amber Maxwell, 

I’m thrilled to share an exciting milestone with you. This year marks ten years since I first opened Fashion Music Friends in Sydney, a journey filled with growth, transformation, and a renewed focus on activewear essentials that cater to every lifestyle. With that in mind, I’m excited to recount our recent milestone: our inaugural activewear pop-up event in Hamburg.



 
Our First Activewear Pop-Up in Hamburg

This past weekend was nothing short of magical as we hosted our first activewear pop-up in the vibrant heart of Hamburg. This event marked a full-circle moment in my journey, transitioning from Fashion Music Friends in Sydney to the rebirth of our brand as Amber Maxwell Official in Ibiza. Hamburg holds a special place in this evolution.

 

Connecting with both new faces and familiar ones was an incredible experience. We were delighted to meet women who had already fallen in love with our pieces, some having discovered us while holidaying in Ibiza, others being long-time fans from our online store. Hamburg’s health-conscious community welcomed us with open arms, embodying the essence of what we stand for: wellness, balance, and wearing functional, stylish pieces that transition effortlessly from day to day.

The energy in the room was palpable as women arrived with arms full of shopping bags, eager to try on our collection. 

Witnessing their excitement as they embraced our Australian-designed pieces, crafted with the authenticity of my home country and the free-spirited nature of Ibiza, was genuinely rewarding. These designs have become essential staples in their wardrobes, resonating with their active lifestyles.

What truly made the event special was the opportunity to connect with like-minded local businesses. We exchanged ideas and explored exciting future collaborations that will further enrich our community. 

 

The enthusiasm we felt in Hamburg has inspired us for what's to come, reinforcing our mission to create spaces for movement, mindfulness, and shared experiences.

In the spirit of community, we sampled a kids’ legging to test out with one of our dear friends, Sanna, from Hamburg. Her daughter, Suvi, is a huge fan of our activewear and still adores the leggings she purchased over a year ago. To ensure Suvi had her own piece, we crafted a mini version of our leggings, even turning fabric cut-offs into adorable hair ties. 

As a huge fan of granola, I’ve spent the past year and a half perfecting my own recipe, drawing inspiration from my travels. Leading up to the event, we baked batches of this homemade granola to share with our guests, reinforcing our commitment to wellness and nourishment.

Granola has become an essential part of my daily routine, whether for breakfast or as a quick snack. The positive feedback we received was overwhelming, both in Hamburg and during my recent trip back to Australia. I can’t wait to share more at our upcoming events!

The Hamburg pop-up was just the beginning. We’re excited to continue building this community and sharing the Amber Maxwell vision across new locations. Our upcoming events will focus on our core values, wellness, mindfulness, music, and movement.

 

We’re already planning more events in Hamburg and beyond, along with collaborations with local businesses. So stay tuned for exciting announcements!
